Diesen Multi-Cache in Zeit und Raum kann man auch ohne GPSr heben. Allerdings muss muss man am kürzesten Tag des Jahres früh aufstehen und auf einen Berg klettern. Außerdem benötigt man eine gute Karte, ein Lineal und ggfs. einen Kompass.

1. Am Morgen der Wintersonnenwende kann man vom Totenkopf im Kaiserstuhl an den angegeben Koordinaten beobachten, wie die Sonne über einer Bergspitze aufgeht (so ungefähr jedenfalls). Es wird behauptet, dass es auf dem entsprechenden Berg keltische Kultstätten gab. Unbestritten ist, dass der Berg ziemlich hoch ist (>800m).
2. Zum Äquinoktium begebe man sich auf den Schönberg (bei Ebringen) und suche eine Stelle, von der aus man das Hexental gut sieht und an der Lieschen Müller vermuten würde, dass sie die Sonne exakt hinter der bei Stage 1 identifizierten Bergspitze aufgehen sehen kann. Geht man in Richtung der aufgehenden Sonne, findet man am Hang einen Baum, der einen deutlichen Bezug zur Sonne hat.
3. Die Cachedose findet sich vis-a-vis auf der anderen Seite des Pfades.

Danach kann man dann auch noch kurz beim Schoenberg Cache vorbeischauen, so man ihn nicht schon gehoben hat.

This multi-cache can be found without a GPSr, but you have to get up early and climb a mountain on the shortest day of the year. In addition, a good map, a ruler and a compass are helpful.

1. When you climb Totenkopf in the Kaiserstuhl area (at the specified coordinates) on midwinter morning, you can see the sun rising (approximately) above a particular summit. Some people claim that there used to be a Celtic center of worship on this mountain. In any case, the mountain is larger than the avarage mountain in this area (>800m)
2. On equinox morning, try to find a spot on the Schönberg mountain (close to Ebringen) from where you have a view of the valley called Hexental and from which the average Joe would expect to see the sun rising exactly from behind the mountain identified in stage 1. Walk towards the sun until you reach the cliff. There should be a tree that has an obvious connection to the rising sun.
3. The cache is vis-a-vis on the other side of the path.

After you have found this one, it should be easy to find Schoenberg Cache, which is nearby.
