The day started out rainy, but later the weather stabilized on the positive side and everything else also - sort of. All in all, the trip with mtbikeroz and RexTrex was a lot of fun, but sometimes also a bit exhausting.

Mtbikeroz had estimated a 28 km bike ride and a 3 km walk. Sounded quite reasonable to me and I was expecting to be home for lunch [^]. He also mentioned "bush bashing", but I did not attach any significance to it. Well, it may have something to do with the German phrase "auf den Busch klopfen", I thought. How wrong I was I realized only when I was in the middle of it [B)]. Bush bashing means apparently bashing the bush until it provides a path for you. If it doesn't, you bash more and walk nevertheless. This all needs considerably time and energy [xx(] and in between you have to bash the rocks as well. All in all, you walk/climb/crawl at a speed of around 600m/hr. Well, by reading the cache description, I could have known [B)]. Now I know, how Ludwig Leichhardt must have felt when exploring Australia [;)].

In any case, it was a great experience and a magnificient place to reach. Definitely, the cache is worthy to be our #1000 cache. So thanks to Winglen for it and to mtbikeroz and RexTrex for the company.
